Happy Little Clouds

On a clear day...
there aren't a lot of clouds to enjoy (which is a shame)
20161208_075047.jpgAnd I can't think about clouds without remembering the great Bob Ross and all of his "happy little clouds"
“Anything that we don’t like, we’ll turn it into a happy little tree or something, because as you know, we don’t make mistakes, we just have happy little accidents. If you don’t like it, change it, it’s your world. In your world, you can do anything that you want. And maybe in our world, lives a happy little tree over there.”

So while I can't paint worth a sh*t and my photography 'skills' are that I enjoy capturing at least some beauty in the world that I see, I hope that my occasional postings of my views and photos of the world "out there" stir some interest in you all and encourage you all to get "out there" - wherever that may be - and enjoy all the beauty nature has provided us. Enjoy it and share it with others because that which we enjoy we often care about. And if we care enough about it then hopefully we will cherish and protect it so that others may share.
So enjoy some of my cloud photos taken (literally) looking out my back door in New Mexico - where the sky is a palate just waiting for nature to paint those happy little clouds. More to come in the future as I go through my images but for now - Enjoy, and Peace.

I love your shots of the sky and the clouds! Personally I also like to get outside and just enjoy the beauty of nature :)

That's the nice thing about the southwest - lots and lots of beautiful nature to enjoy. Unfortunately the summer heat can be brutal.

You made some lovely photos! :)
I especially like the one where the mountain got red from sun light!
Where in the world could I watch this landscape?? :D

The mountain is Sandia Mountain on the east side of Albuquerque, NM and 'sandia' means 'watermelon' in spanish - the pink granite of the mtn really glows in the sunset.
