Communication is very important in bridging people and in every endeavor, it plays a vital role in coming up with good decisions. According to the book of Leveriza, its primary purpose is to influence others. Let me share you then what the author says about it.

Here it is:

As presented, communication is 7% spoken words, 38% voice, tone, 55% body language. Very true because in influencing others and in conveying a message to them, spoken words alone would not be so convincing as it needs to have tact. Voice tone matters more than spoken words. You see, when a person talking to you has a good timbre of voice, you tend to be attentive to what he or she is saying. That is why a good public speaker needs to have a color in his voice. Above all it is body language which influences the most, that is 55%. As what the common adage says, actions speak louder than words and that is very true. No matter how good your words are and how colorful your voice maybe, if your actions are the reverse of what you are saying then that is but futile.

Let me show you this photo and try to look at the pose of the couple at the right side. You may infer the relationship they have with such intimacy hahaha. I do love seeing them. See, body language really matters and very effective.
