So what is this "bokeh" ...

Well it's not about that new movie or Python library.
The Bokeh i want to post and resteem is and i quote wikipedia for this : "Bokeh is the aesthetic quality of the blur produced in the out-of-focus parts of an image produced by a lens.
Bokeh has been defined as "the way the lens renders out-of-focus points of light" "

on the picture below you can see the light circles caused by the highlights but like wikipedia says : "Bokeh is often most visible around small background highlights, such as specular reflections and light sources, which is why it is often associated with such areas. However, bokeh is not limited to highlights; blur occurs in all out-of-focus regions of the image. "

in the second picture the bokeh gives a different view to the picture and is not about light bubbles.

the last one clearly shows a different bokeh on the highlights , each lens shows different shapes , and you can actually manipulated that if you would use a filter with a template in front of your lens so that you would not circles but shapes of a heart for example.

i personally love to play with bokeh in my photography i collected some nice lenses for it :
