Interim President Jeanine Áñez promulgates the law for new elections in Bolivia

Jeanine Áñez stressed the commitment of his provisional Government with a clean election against the "fraud" of which he accuses Evo Morales in the elections of last October 20, whose results with this law are annulled.

The interim president of Bolivia, Jeanine Áñez, promulgated this Sunday the emergency law to call new elections in the country as soon as possible, with the commitment that they will be "clean, fair and transparent" elections.

#Remarks by the interim president Jeanine Añez:

"Blessed be God for this day," were the first words of Añez after signing the law in the Government Palace in La Paz.
"It has not been easy to build consensus," he acknowledged, necessary in Parliament to unanimously approve this law for Bolivians to "choose without fraud, without deception and without blackmail."
Facing the "dark machinations, as did the Government of former President Evo Morales," according to the provisional president.
"God bless you always, the time for reconciliation comes, may God bless all of Bolivia," were his words to close the speech.
