REVIEW: supported a Sufi verse form of identical name written in 1540 by leader Muhammad Jayasi, Sanjay Leela Bhansali has superimposed his own aptitude and interpretation to 'Padmaavat', giving it a fairy-tale radiancy. This makes all the tilt pointless, and pale as compared to the spectacle that unfolds. Bhansali reunites with 2 of his favorite leads in recent times - Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, however adds Shahid Kapoor to complete this trio of commendable acting talent.
Shahid is steadfast and imperturbable as Maharawal switch Singh - the ruler of Mewar, brimful with Hindoo pride. He brings a majestic aura to the character that warrants him winning the arrogance and loyalty of the Mewar kingdom and a lot of significantly, aristocrat Padmavati's heart.
