Kajol's not like the other moms, here's why

This year saw a slew of revenge dramas in Bollywood — Maatr, where Raveena Tandon avenged the rape and murder of her daughter, Sridevi’s Mom based on similar lines, and Sanjay Dutt’s Bhoomi. While other actresses have no qualms playing such roles, Kajol is averse to them. The actress will be seen playing a mother in her next, and says, “It’s a nice, funny, humorous take on a mother. That’s all I can say for now.” She adds, “As a mother, I can’t see films with violence and crimes against kids. I won’t be able to pull off something like that because it shocks me and I don’t want it to happen to anyone. I’m not comfortable with such roles.”
