KATHMANDU: A bomb went off in a school premises in Lalitpur district this afternoon.
According to SSP Ganesh Aire, the bomb exploded at Namuna Machhindra Secondary School at Batuk Bhairav in the district. “The bomb was planted in the backyard of the school where garbage were disposed.”
“The window glasses were shattered. No human casualties were reported,” he added.
“They heard a big sound in the backyard at around 2:45 pm and immediately informed the police about it. We are looking into the case,” he further stated.
We are at the incident site and still investigating into the matter, added Aire.
