The start of the New Year was very quiet book wise... After all the books I got in December, my wallet needed a little bit of a break, lol.

Suffice it to say, though, I still manage to get a couple of books; I won one on Instagram and I bought one.

I entered an Instagram #Giveaway around February 2018 for a HB PoA (without a dust jacket) and the book was sent in March 2018...

It finally arrived on my doorstep in January, almost a year later, but it did arrive...

Synopsis

I participated in a #BookSwop on Instagram - all South African #Bookstagrammers who were interested put their names in a pile and were partnered with someone from another part of SA, and we were to send each other a book and a few related items (like the book boxes you see all over Insta) - which we were to all open on 15 March 2019.

So obviously, the first step is to decide which book you're going to send and then work around it; I decided on SJTR, which I bought in February; and, because it was such a good price, I got one for myself too - because, why not?
