The Gulag Archipelago by Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn

The Gulag Archipelago by Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn. It's a heavy, thick read about Russian forced labor camps and torture...I'm not sure I recommend people to read it as its not easy to get through, but on the other side some things are important to learn so we don't repeat our mistakes. And here in this book there are some very important messages.

One related to the current issue of virtue signaling, can be seen in a dangerous light after reading this book. I hope we won't continue down this similar path that ended in the Gulag.. My big hope is thanks to the internet we can realize we are not alone in are thinking and that common sense can prevail..
