Description: The Penderwicks at Last by Jeanne Birdsall is the fifth and last book in the ‘the Penderwicks’ series. This one is about the youngest sibling Lydia going to place where the story started-Arundel- to celebrate the wedding of her eldest sister Rosalind.

My opinion: i thought this book was great. I would give it a *** out of five stars. It was nice to see Lydia all grow up from her previous 2 year-old self in the previous books. though In my opinion, Lydia's older sister Skye changed way too much. It did not show her gradualy chage throughout the series, she just, BOOM turned happy and positive after years (and books!) of pessimistic rebelliousness. I also think it was nice touch to make Lydia’s older sister Batty not remember going to Arundel as she was four in the first book and would not remember going. And it was nice to see longtime-lovers Rosalind and Tommy get together in the end after years of being a thing. Overall it was a nice book for old fans to get a kick out of. New fans may not understand the nod off to the previous books, but they will love the book all the same.
