Rating: 5 out of 5 Stars

From the Back Cover of Book: Richard Mayhew is a young man with a good heart and an ordinary life, which is changed forever when he stops to help a girl he finds bleeding on a London sidewalk. His small act of kindness propels him into a world he never dreamed existed. There are, people who fall through the cracks, and Richard has become one of them. And he must learn to survive in this city of shadows and darkness, monsters and saints, murderers and angels, if he is ever to return to the London that he knew.

Neil Gaiman is a master in his art of writing. His creations of mixing the real world and those of myth are brilliant. I loved that this story is set in London. I first found this book back in high school. The craziness that goes on around Richard while he discovers the underworld of London, makes you never want to put the book down. There are so many things that happen in the story it is one that you will read over and over again. Every time that I have read this book I have always find something new within the story. A book that you have to have and read more than once.

I adore Neil Gaiman! This book and American Gods are my favorites by him.

This is my absolute favorite. I have to admit I've not read American Gods though I did watch the show, which I love.

The book is always better! Although I was impressed by the show as well.
