Cassie may be running from one vampire into the arms of another but this is not your usual vampire story. Even though Cassie needs help but she also has some moves of her own. Beautifully written characters for this story, truth be told I don’t have just one favorite. These characters where vibrant and came to life on the page. The author weaved together mythology and the paranormal like a fine tapestry. This is a book that had me on the edge of my seat trying to find out what was going to happen next. And it didn’t disappoint at all. I really think this is a brilliant way to start a series and can't wait to read the next book, Claimed By Shadow.
