The Dtube Book Review - The Passion Conversation by Brains on Fire

We're back!

It's time for another @Dtube book review and it's funny how the universe works...

I wasn't even planning on launching SteemSavvy while reading this book but it was in front of my eyes at the perfect time in my life.

The Passion Conversation is about word of mouth marketing and how effective it can be in all areas of business and life. The book argues that without true passion behind ones work, the foundations can never be properly set!

The first bit of the book explains word of mouth marketing and why we need passion behind any initiative we start. And then it moves into real world examples of passion fuelling all sorts of marketing projects.

The authors are from the Brains on Fire marketing firm and they give some case studies from various projects that they have been hired for. From health and fitness to addiction recovery....This book showcases that everything begins and ends with the people!

Such an awesome message for building communities of passionate followers....But it begins and ends with...People!

One of the better books I've read about everyone's favorite buzzword "passion" ;)

Without passion we become passive. Truly believing in what you are doing enables you to pass that along to others.

Word of mouth advertising is critical. After all, isn't that what social media is? Telling others about what is important, good and bad, to us.

Good stuff!

The hard part for me is that unless it's for school it's real hard for me to sit down and read a book. I always joke when someone says "the book was better than the movie", you know what I liked about the movie? No reading.

ha ha ha. man i’m addicted. but when i was in school i hated reading. as soon as i found topics that i loved. i was all in.

Passion is such a critical thing with what you do! This word came up in my acting class as well... You have to show passion as the character you play... they are real people so you have to show passion as that person! With out passion day to day life would be dull. You touched on many companies... in the network marketing arena sometimes the persons passion is misinterpreted as being conceited... when in reality they are very passionate about what they are doing!

absolutely. without it it’s all not worth a thing.
