Chuck Palahniuk "Ghosts". A few words about the book ... ( Review )

Perhaps, the topic is partly beaten: several people are isolated from the rest of the community in a trap, in this case, believing the announcement of a closed 3-month writer's seminar, where all that is in the homo sapiens as in kind is fully manifested. At times, from reading the book, there is a feeling of direct-like physical nausea
, But it is impossible to break away from it. At the same time, Palanik does not use flat and knowingly win-win cinematics at all, all the abomination is not in spots of mold or cobwebs, she is - where else? In human nature itself. People can not help but be tormentors and martyrs, they need wars, violence, and suffering. From this you feel like a kitten,
Who pokes his nose in his own puddle: they say, know what you really are. Unpleasant, but very informative. And yet: intellectualism, decadence, encyclopedic and no happy ending. All you need is a "real Indian".

I agree... I think this book is 50/50. The short stories are wonderfull I really enjoyed all this stories. But i think that the central storie (The Writers Retreat) is complete sucks. Is so boring and annoying. I think it would have been better than the author, would have made a compendium of stories than a novel.
