Recently finished this book. I must say it is both alarming and enthralling. I honestly hated having to put it down which for a non fiction is a big achievement.
The book details the social changes taking place in Europe by analysing the dissipating role of traditional european religions in day to day life among 'indigenous' europeans while simultaneously attracting unprecedented levels of immigrations from cultures and parts of the world that still take their religions very seriously and hold socially conservative views similar to those which were more common in Europe 50 years ago.
The author spent a lot of time travelling around the mediterranean areas where the bulk of these migrants are arriving and spoke to many of them. The plights, ambitions and motives of these people are looked at fairly and honestly. But the author makes an equal effort to weigh this against the interests of the current occupants of Europe.
The most striking thing for me that I learned form the book is the level of dishonesty among our politicians which is highlighted. Regardless of your views on immigration surely the public deserve to be told the truth without distortion especially when it comes to reporting of crimes, actual population numbers, demographics and economic costs/benefits. If high immigration is for the better these figures should shine a light on that and if they are not for the greater good we need to know so we can speak and decide from an informed stance.
There certainly is a massive mainstream media coverup going on and it begs the question as to why and what the political agenda is. There are many theories out there so I won't go into that but without a doubt, life in many parts of Europe has already changed due to the massive influx of migrants, and not for the better. Some may argue that the majority of these migrants are decent people simply hoping for a better life, which may be true. However, it is a fact that among them are criminals and extremists and it doesn't take a majority of people to cause problems, only a small percentage of the population is necessary and can cause massive problems for everyone else.

I think the most poignant question is - how many instances of -insert particular crime- is tolerable even if it's from a minority of the group
