Although I personally don't read books, I picked up 'Of Mice and Men' by John Steinbeck, and I HIGHLY recommend it. One of the pros was the character development throughout the story. The ending of the story, although a little upsetting, was a major plot twist, which are GREAT in these type of fictional stories.
If you haven't read this tale, you may be questioning what this tale is about.
'Of Mice and Men' is a narrative written by John Steinbeck. Taking place in the 1930s, the two main protagonists, George and Lennie, search for work in California during the Great Depression, and meet many interesting individuals along the way.
This is a good story. I like how it portrays innocence, tragedy, a hero, and protector. In the end it's a hard decision but mercy.
