In my second book review video, I review "Principles" by Ray Dalio. For those unfamiliar with Mr. Dalio, Ray is the founder and former CEO of Bridgewater and Associates, a world renown hedge fund. In this book, Ray outlines the life principles that he as established through his 30+ years of investing. The principles he outlines are not meant to be followed blindly, but rather they are a collection and codification of the lessons he has learned and systematically recorded for others to learn from throughout his life.
"Principles" is part one of a two-part series; in part 1, Mr. Dalio talks about the principles he has learned as it relates to life and work.
the second book he plans to reveal the principles he has learned that relate to investment. He is all about meritocracy, believability weighted opinions, and creating systems of metric based thinking and processes.
thank you for your time and attention, see you in the comments.
Best,
