Endless Jest is one of a kind; it was reproduced in the positive thinking and new frontiersmanship of the website 1990s yet was at the same time an early sign of where we are today. It investigates our present past what were just skylines when it was composed: the strains of a worldwide economy, the sedative of on-request excitement, the close outlandish quest for significance in a victor take-all general public. Tennis phenoms battle in a ludicrously requesting foundation and recouping addicts scan for something sufficiently solid to enable them through, all while a unit of legless Quebecois professional killers to look for a motion picture so engaging that they intend to utilize it as a weapon. At turns silly and awful, this is the visit de-constrain novel of the powers that have formed our new thousand years and will probably keep molding it for quite a long time to come.
