The Zohar is the foundational work in the literature of Jewish mystical thought known as Kabbalah.

Who out there has read from any of these books? It's a most surreal journey. You know what I learned after buying my first volume and beginning my journey into the the "Radiance"? The age at which a Jewish man begins to study these works is 40 years old. Now I was raised protestant. Not Jewish. I've been to Israel twice. I have the utmost respect for Jewish people, as I do for all people. And so my raising along with my journeys while a member of the U.S. Navy as a young man led me to the Zohar at the ripe old age of 40 years.

When I realized that I had picked up and began studying the Zohar at age 40; the same age at which Jewish men began studying it you can imagine that I was completely at a loss for words. Wouldn't You be?! Come on!
