Yes! I do profit as well! Yet, there is nothing as good as the metaphysical sensation of touching an ancient book, like French say "dans son jus"—in its original condition. I still feel the vivid memory of some moments as a collector—that of rejuvenating the imagination through the vibrational exhale of a book produced by the mere act of opening its covers and realizing that once hands of somebody I treasure held it as means of transport to the reality I live in... Maintaining an old book is like the charm of a deeply longed kiss from a time where the writer probably sensed that one day I would be holding it in my hands, giving that kiss back with comprehension and care...
