I have compiled a list of 13 of the most powerful books ever written on the topic of success and achieving your goals.

Each and every one of these books is a must read for anyone wanting to turn their life into a magical journey.

I won't say anything about each one as I plan to give a solid review of each in later posts.

They are in no specific order.

Reading, understanding and implementing what is in these 13 books can give you a magical quality you never thought would be possible!

I am not going to get into it in this post.

I will leave you with this:

If you are serious about succeeding in life, if you want to achieve your dreams and learn to put your success on autopilot, then you need to read every one of these books multiple times.

The advice you will gain from them is priceless and irreplaceable.

This isn't fluff, I have personally read all of these books.

If you have not, the next thing your money should be spent on should seriously be one of these 13 books.

If you don't have the money then beg or borrow for it.

It will be a life changing decision for you!

Thanks for reading,

FWIW, Emerson's Self Reliance is also excellent. It is the font of much of today's success writing.

Nice suggestion! I also want to read his essays. I'm told they are great. I was thinking I would get more great book suggestions from this post. :)

Covey's 7 Habits also does a quick rundown of success literature that is interesting. Also an excellent self-help book in and of itself.

Yea, that is at the top of my read next list actually. I've heard very good things.

great post, i'll add some of these to my reading list! currently reading The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People and I am giving reviews / summaries per chapter like this. keep them coming!

That book is definitely on my to read list. Soon, very soon.

I would love to see the Bible into the list.

Much love @DoWithLove

For Christians I would hope it would be also.

Rich Dad is an amazing book a must read. Thanks for sharing I will def check out the others listed

Yes it is. I really liked it. You will love them!

Hey the whale timing was pretty good but not your personal best of $5 for one word! :)

Yea that is true. That was pretty good. I'm not using it for comments anymore. That was just to see if it were possible. It's been really helpful for posts though.

I haven't read most of these, but I have heard about most of the authors of these books. I've read Outwitting the Devil by Napoleon Hill, a unique style of book-writting right there. I've enjoyed it, totally recommending!
Also, I'll check some of these books out.

Thank for the quality post, and the amazing list. Love it!

You bet!
Thanks!
I have not read "Outwitting the Devil" yet. I love Napoleon's work so I will add this one to my list to read for sure!

Hi @michaeldavid. Thank you for the list of amazing books to read. I have read a few of these but I'm always game for learning more of . . . everything. I absolutely love audible for helping me to listen to books. I learn and understand better that way.

I love audios also! Its a great way to learn. Both ways have their advantages. These books have taught me more than I could possible explain.

Thanks for this list of books !

Absolutely!

Thanks for this list, but I do not like The Secret because it inaccurately painted a picture of LOA. I believe in LOA but nothing happens without action. Visualizing alone won't help and there is reality too. I also believe some things are plain not meant to be. But it's always good to go after your goals and keep the eye on the prize.

My least favorite of the list but it does belong.

They do lead you to believe that there is no action you are right.

I think they mean to display it but their description is so esoteric that it goes unnoticed. I would put it at the bottom of the list for basically the same reason you say (and that they totally leave you hanging).

Oddly enough, this book and this one alone completely reshaped a relative of mines life. He went from meth to super responsible (owns a house, manages a company) in about 2 years. I'm really proud of him. I showed him the movie then he went and bought the book and has continued a great path since.

What I do like about it (and I say this from having personal experience showing this book and movie to tons of people) is that it is an easy into to the subject for people that are nowhere near understanding it on their own.

Action is definitely huge and could've been displayed better in that book though.

Well I'm really glad he was helped by The Secret and it's great to know it did really help someone.

Yes it is.

I have read many of these books and I liked them. For me it was when I had a go at direct sales and found that i was truly dreadful at it! You need to read something positive when you are being rejected multiple times a day! If their affect is permanent then it has to be a subconscious one because I cannot say that I follow the Stephen Covey way on a day to day basis. (Who I believe you left off the list...).

By the way I think "Rich Dad" is the odd one out. Good but different.

You are right. If you are in sales it really helps to read things like this. Their affect is permanent and will get buried in the subconscious if not re visited often.

What I liked about Rich Dad is that it spoke in a different way. I could really relate with it. Understanding the quadrants that he lays out was an eye opener into personal realization of just who I am and where I really want to be.

I like it.(1,2,5,6,11,12)

You will love the rest of them as well. :)
