Book Hunting With The Philippines' Vice President, But I Didn't Notice Her

National Bookstore in the Philippines holds a warehouse sale for 4 days starting March 15 until March 18, 2018.Their sale opens from 7:00 am until 12:00 midnight. This is really a great news for me and my sister since both of us are bibliophiles.First day of the warehouse sale is exclusive for members of Laking National Card .My sister can't join me in book hunting because she doesn't have her card yet.

During the First day of their sale.I was ecstatic with my book haul.They have lots of Classic Books and Fantasy books. I bought hardbound Classic Books, Science Books, Young Adult Novel Books , Mystery Books and Activity Books for my family.My sons are really into books. I bought Php 3650.00 worth of books, But since it's discounted I only paid Php 2 525.00 in total.

During the second day of the warehouse sale, my sister and I went there early in the morning. There were much more people than their first day sale because there's no need to present your membership card.I can say that the book selection on the first day is better.I was always very meticulous browsing every shelf looking for the books of my choice.It's like looking for a needle in the haystack.

My sister also is busy looking for her books.I was in the middle of my business when I noticed that there were many uniformed men everywhere .Then something must be strange because everyone's taking pictures. I just didn't mind it because I was thinking that the management maybe secured the place for everyone.

When, I texted my sister that we have to sort out the books that we'd surely buy we met in the sorting area. And in the middle of our conversation she mentioned that Vice President Leni Robredo was also there.She bought books about politics and history.I didn't believe her at first, then she showed me a pictures that she took. She said" You were too busy that you didn't notice her security guards around , uniformed in white". We just laughed at that because I seemed to be like , I don't care what's happening around and I wasn't curious about what makes people around me take pictures that much.

Book hunting was really a fun. Finding your favorites author's books is very rewarding.
