Is that Soros migrants I see?

No @shepz1 I don't think these are Soros migrants they are every day migrants who saw it was better to go in groups than as individuals. You see as a group you don't have to pay a coyote a few thousand dollars which they probably don't have, so they have to sell whatever possessions they do own to pay the coyote, on a caravan they just have to pay their way. See everyone is making a great deal about these caravans but the truth is that for the last 10-12 years an average of between 150-200 Hondurans daily, have been going on that trip to the US, some of them make it, some are caught and are deported many of them die.
I see a lot of people in the US say we want them but in the legal way. I think none of these guys would be given a chance, most of the people who do go are poor or incredibly poor and probably have little technical skills just their brute force they are willing to do the most menial of jobs, that is the main reason for leaving, look for a better life, just an appointment to get a visa at the US Embassy puts you down $130.00 plus you have to travel, these guys have no such money and in their thinking if they do have it it makes so much more sense to use it to travel to the US as an illegal, because at the US embassy their visa will in 99% of the cases be denied.
I am not saying whether these guys are right or wrong but to blame Soros, the Democrats.Maduro, Cuba etc. for the caravans is wrong, the fault is a failed country, Honduras and also partly the US government is also at fault, because all Honduras governments are OK'd by the US. Just as an example the city where I live has an estimated 70% unemployment rate, and this I am sure is a direct consequence of neo liberal policies implemented by the Honduras government in direct compliance to orders from the US government. And unfortunately this is also true for Guatemala and El Salvador so the daily number of undocumented immigrants must be about 400-500 daily who do decide to make the effort to go north, just from northern Central America.

Thank you for a superb reply.
I know here in the EU Soros funds and aides migrants with no papers via his so called NGO's hence why I asked the question and your reply was detailed and well appreciated.

the city where I live has an estimated 70% unemployment rate

Sounds like you live in South Central LA, right here in the USA...??? There are a number of other communities where those numbers may apply 'here' as well, with people standing on soup kitchen lines and picking up donated food at food pantries.

There is 'great poverty' and hungry stomachs everywhere...

I hadn't seen your comment until now, of course there is poverty everywhere and it will get worse as the population keeps on growing, and the problem is that the world does produce enough food but a huge amount of food is wasted every day, for example fast food restaurants throw away good food that is left over, that happens here, so food that could feed a hungry person goes to waste, this is just an example but if we could fix this type of problems we could probably fix the hunger problem.

Most 'large' restaurant chains mandate that employees put all expired or leftover food into the trash for safety and legal reasons; so, yes...there is a lot of food which goes to waste in 'that' and other ways, of which we 'all' know.

One of the most disturbing things for me to witness, is the hunger in places with rich, fertile land for 'anyone' to clear a patch and 'grow' some food...yet, they do not? The poor in the cities may not have such an opportunity, but those in rural areas mostly do.

Seems to me that 'educating' these people in the best way for them to help themselves would be a 'big' step in the right direction. Many modern day poor, seem to have lost their knowledge about self-sufficiency. The indigenous people of the jungle and forest seem to be doing okay for themselves, with passed down knowledge.

The land is one of the problems most of this land is in the hands of very few people and is mainly used for bananas, coffee and cattle, in Honduras' case don't think there is as much land as the size of the country might imply, most of it is mountains.

Mountains are 'land'...and so are 'jungles' where a small patch of earth might yield a bountiful harvest with a little knowledge and effort.

Seems you missed my main point, or ignored addressing it (education) and I do not mean typical formal studies, where there exists a major learning curve problem for low IQ individuals. I intended 'education' by those in the know, as to how to become more 'self sufficient'... How to live off the land that mother Nature provided for us.

I'm aware that Honduras is rated as one of the most impoverished Country in the Western Hemisphere, and one of the most dangerous. It is also one in which most people test out with a low IQ score for whatever reason/s. Seems to me, 'that' is the main problem, not the mass, private ownership of some land.

I wish you well, along with the Honduran, and 'all' the poor people of the world regardless where they live.

Now that was a laugh, who took these IQ tests? For your information nobody takes IQ tests in Honduras and I bet if they did take them the returns would be about average for any group of people, now yes the poorer people do have education problems, mostly due to the fact that an educated population is a threat to the elites, so you would have to look at that also.

@gduran is right, as far back as the 70's I was aware that most of the land in South America is in the hands of about 60 families. There is lots of land, but educated or not, you will not farm it without paying someone first. Saludos.

Somebody was handing them cash, or they would starve.

It may be easy to find out who, I will look into it over the next few days.
