The land is one of the problems most of this land is in the hands of very few people and is mainly used for bananas, coffee and cattle, in Honduras' case don't think there is as much land as the size of the country might imply, most of it is mountains.

Report from inside the caravan.
Mountains are 'land'...and so are 'jungles' where a small patch of earth might yield a bountiful harvest with a little knowledge and effort.
Seems you missed my main point, or ignored addressing it (education) and I do not mean typical formal studies, where there exists a major learning curve problem for low IQ individuals. I intended 'education' by those in the know, as to how to become more 'self sufficient'... How to live off the land that mother Nature provided for us.
I'm aware that Honduras is rated as one of the most impoverished Country in the Western Hemisphere, and one of the most dangerous. It is also one in which most people test out with a low IQ score for whatever reason/s. Seems to me, 'that' is the main problem, not the mass, private ownership of some land.
I wish you well, along with the Honduran, and 'all' the poor people of the world regardless where they live.

Now that was a laugh, who took these IQ tests? For your information nobody takes IQ tests in Honduras and I bet if they did take them the returns would be about average for any group of people, now yes the poorer people do have education problems, mostly due to the fact that an educated population is a threat to the elites, so you would have to look at that also.

I'm happy that it gave you a good laugh...Your response was equally as funny.
Goodbye.

@gduran is right, as far back as the 70's I was aware that most of the land in South America is in the hands of about 60 families. There is lots of land, but educated or not, you will not farm it without paying someone first. Saludos.

I was 'not' talking about 'farming' it...I was talking about a small patch of gardening, which can easily be done even if you need to be clandestine about it. It is done in many places of the world, 'I' have done it myself after being shown by someone else doing it. Something I had never thought about before...and I was able to feed 'myself' quite well when I was doing it.
Like I said...'EDUCATION' learning something...some way to do something that 'you' might not have thought possible. Take the initiative to 'help yourself, and you might be surprised how better off you become. (Instead of making 'excuses' as to why you cannot...)
Also...??? When did Hundorus become a part of "South America"????
This is the end of this conversation for me...don't bother replying.
