  INTRODUCTION 

The Borneo Fashion Week celebrates creativity and culture through a major inaugural event in the heart of Kuching, Sarawak. This one-of-a-kind occasion provides an inside look at the world of fashion and Ethnic design through a diversified program of activities which includes fashion shows, workshops, pop up stores and more.

 Slated to be held from the 6th to the 8th of April 2018, this event will feature many well-known Malaysian and foreign designers, retailers, up-and-coming creators and international fashion icons.  

 These artistic and talented individuals will share their art and vision with the attendees through activities which include emerging designer shows, established designer slots, live makeup workshops, design showcase and musical performances.  

 The Borneo Fashion Week's presence will also be felt around the world through the digital platform where one will be able to follow pre and post activities like catwalk shows, backstage preparations, designer's interviews, product exhibits and more.  

 With 300 participants and 5,000 visitors expected, the Borneo Fashion Week will be a leading platform for fashion, design, music, beauty and shopping trends.    #bfw18 is an international event that culminates Malaysian and international designers and is set to become the most prominent fashion event in the island of Borneo.
The event will increase the domestic awareness of home-grown fashion and increase the global presence of the Borneo Fashion Design Industry. #bfw18 is geared towards maximizing the potential of entrepreneurs, designers, and business leaders to market their product and services and expand their network.
 

Borneo Fashion Week is aimed at positioning Malaysia on the map as the region’s most unique destination for leading fashion brands, accessories and textiles.   #bfw18 will have over 30 Fashion Designers, 20 Exhibitors, 20 International Models, 1 ‘you don’t want to miss’ after party at China House, Kuching and over 1,000 ‘high-net-worth’ individuals attending.
