Another lights out performance from Chris Sale meanwhile the Boston Red Sox offense could not provide their ace with any run support. In the 8th inning, Sale took it upon himself trying to score runs and cranked a double to left field. Getting onto 2nd base with no outs, fans were hopeful he would find his way home. Three quick outs from the top of the batting line-up left Sale stranded at 3rd base. Why is it that the bats go dead for the Red Sox when Sale is pitching?
