Similar to @joeyarnoldvn from 6 months ago, I am being persecuted by @spaminator.
See what happened to @joeyarnoldvn:
Hive.blog's @spaminator is persecuting me, WTF?
I have no idea if @spaminator is a filter bot or a real person, but by the way I'm being arbitrarily downvoted, I have two guesses.
It's a poorly coded bot with questionable filter thresholds; that is, when a post doesn't fit into their limited "good guy, good post" domain, it defaults into an "instant downvote"!
Or
It is a person (or group of persons), probably minimally paid or worse, "voluntary", with super low self-esteem.
Get the picture?
In other words, a closet sadist (or group of like-minded sadists) that take great pleasure when randomly sniping Hive.blog authors from behind a computer screen.
This is not hyperbole.
There was such a group at the defunct Uptrennd. They lied to their members and perpetuated the myth of a super Spam Bot named "Automod"; while in reality, it was just a small group of Draconian Nazis!
In fact, I wrote to the CEO of Uptrennd about it.
See: " An email to Mr. Kirdeikis "Wrongly Accused of Not Being Me?" Please Help!" https://steemit.com/qurator/@jaichai/an-email-to-mr-kirdeikis-wrongly-accused-of-being-me-please-help
He never replied and Uptrennd went tits up.
Oh, let me qualify that statement with this: Uptrennd "transitioned" to TRODL. And in the process, raped all non-Whale Uptrennd wallets!
But I digress, Mr. Spaminator.
Back on topic: "Dubious Behavior by @spaminator"
I can assure you that ALL my posts are NOT SPAM, not malicious, always appropriate and are created by me and me alone (aka Original Content ).
This is exactly what happened to me when the old Steemit Spam Bot "Cheetah" went haywire and began flagging me on Steemit many years ago.
In short, Cheetah wasn't designed to handle a multi-platform author like me.
Kudos to the Steemit Cheetah bot devs. After I notified them, they immediately updated the bot's code to accommodate multi-platform authors like myself
I wonder if that's the reason for this @spaminator deja vu thing?
Anyway, because I post on many blogging platforms that allow cross-posting, I make it a point to include this statement in my posts:
"(JaiChai {date}. Simultaneous multi-site submissions posted. All rights reserved.)"
Mr. Spaminator, Update your myopic code!
Awaiting your response
[End of message to @spaminator]
To my fellow Hive Bloggers:
Please put yourself in my shoes for just a moment. How would you feel if your post gets immediately downvoted with no explanation?
Got the feeling?
Now multiply that by six times!
Sadly, after the last six times, I almost "expect" another 0.01 downvote.
It's not right. And every time it happens, the feeling of being unfairly punished just gets worse.
I am appealing to all Hive.blog authors.
Please help me remedy this injustice.
In lak'ech, JaiChai
