Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

    If my information is wrong I apologize, but I have seen few posts stating that vots of 1% are the opposite of helpful...if this information is wrong please I'd appreciate an explanation as to how this works. Thank you.
