Being new to SteemIT, I wasn't here during the heady days of community. Seems to me that's one thing that's really lacking is a good means to interface by interest groups. The main site seems to be geared less for curation (which would require some level of automated searching and filtering capabilities beyond just trending/hot/new and tags) and more for curation reward acquisition. It will be interesting to see where things go and if anyone steps up in the inner circle or among the outer circle to enhance what's lacking.

Yeah, it's become less about creating and adding value to the blockchain but finding the easiest way to get paid. Not me. I'll work hard for that damn nickel! And hope it becomes more!

I'm going to run an AI commenting bot in about 30 Minutes to see if some new modified code will allow for an interesting experience. I think many accounts are bots now. I'll take High Quality Content Creators with low Delegated Proof Of Stake Any Day Over Low Quality Content Creators With High Delegated Proof Of Stake... I Like EPOS more than ever before as it seems more stable long term.
