Resteem/Upvote bots?

I've recently become active on Steam. I've been seeing a lot of FUD about Resteem and upvoting bots that basically turn this platform into a pyramid scheme. Is what I've been reading the truth or is it just nonsense? I honestly don't really feel as I should try and promote content if everyone is just using some bot to up their topics and that none of the rewards are actually people giving them out. Thanks in advance, let me know something please.

Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

  • Disagreement on rewards
  • Fraud or plagiarism
  • Hate speech or trolling
  • Miscategorized content or spam
