I visited the Black Rocks recently which are made out of natural gritstone situated in Cromford in Derbyshire, UK. It was a very misty day - quite spooky.
I walked along the footpath which used to be an old railway line. On a clear day there are some great views from the top. Unfortunately, not today.
The area has been a popular rock climbing venue for many years. My feet stayed on terra firma as I have no head for heights.

Great area to explore! Looks so spooky in the mist. Love the tree along what looks like a cliff!

Marvelous looking with the foggy mists, very beautiful boulders @ellenripley! :-)
Love the spookiest of these awesome photographs! Are those cup like
holes in the last photo for climbing up?

Thank you. I think they are for climbing. You get the odd one or two that are there naturally but not like this.
