Captain Cook Park Alaska
Boulders everywhere in this view at low tide.
Many are still seen when the tide comes in.
Most are glacial erratics, brought down by ice
walls that were a mile or more thick, not just
once but several times in the past ages.
Stranded on the boulders!

There was two people on the rocks
for about 20 minutes before a small
boat came and got them.
This grouping of boulders seems
more special in some way.

with a rare batch of minerals and auroras that
helps grow boulders! Mostly glacial erratics 💎

They sure do don't they! There are some huge ones
way way out there, thought one was a ship but it
was a megaboulder lol
There is a shipping lane out there, best stay in it :-)
Big ships go through Cook inlet to Anchorage and
the Oil docks in Nikiski. In Homer they sometimes
sit in the bay and wait out big storms.
