To help participants gain a better understanding of how we rate content creation, we thought to share some of the most frequently asked questions received regarding content submissions. We hope this will result in a better understanding of our criteria for acceptable material. Please do refer to this before asking our moderators for assistance.

1. What are the criteria for content creation ratings?

AmaZix determines the overall rating based on several criteria, including but not limited to:

a. originality: this refers to how unique the content it, how much personal insight it has, and information not typically found on the project’s website or white paper. If the content is mainly a summary of existing project information, then it is considered unoriginal, since anyone can access the same information by visiting the website or reading the white paper.
Tip: try to make the article yours, using your own ideas yet relevant to the project.

b. creativity: this refers to how interesting the article is to the reader, and usually contains interesting facts or examples of how the project might apply. Remember, readers are exposed to hundreds of blockchain and crypto articles, so yours has to stand out for them to want to read all of it.
Tip: try to use a “hook” or present a situation that readers can identify with, so that they feel the article is relevant to them. Informal (but not too informal) language can help.

c. coherence: this refers to how easily your content can be read and understood. While perfect language is not a requirement, content should at least be formatted cleanly, contain minimum typos, and be clear. If the language is confusing, readers won’t understand the project ideas and won’t want to continue reading. This is why we recommend you write in your native language.
Tip: use a spellcheck to minimize common errors. Keep the writing simple and to the point. Don’t ramble on with long, unnecessary introductions.

d. audience: this refers to the quality and quantity of your readership. The main purpose of bounties is to spread project awareness to a wide, relevant audience. This could mean a lot of things, and is judged on a case-by-case basis. It might be that an account with 50 followers might have an audience worth more than another account with 5,000 followers, if the 50 are all crypto investors while the 5,000 are cat lovers (for example). At the same time, a post that gets 20 views but inspires a lot of comments and conversation could be worth more than a video with 2,000 views but few likes and comments.
Tip: people like to interact and like ideas that challenge. Create content that encourages engagement and your content has a better likelihood of being shared and commented on.

2. What does “low value audience” or “low views” mean?

This means that your audience has been determined not to be of the quality (or quantity) required by the project. This could mean that the readership is not crypto-related, or the account does not have enough followers, or the content does not have enough views. Remember, high views alone does not make a good audience.

3. What does “plagiarism (plag)”, “copy paste (CP)” or “not original” mean?

Plagiarism and copy pasting are basically using content that is not yours and attributing it to yourself. This automatically disqualifies your content.

We consider rewritten content (using existing materials and rewording them) to be a form of plagiarism or at least, not original. Paraphrasing and quotes are acceptable of course, but you should always write original content based on existing information.

Remember, just because your article passed Copyscape or other plagiarism checkers, we still reserve the right to mark content as not original if we feel it reads too similarly to existing content.

4. OK, one of my articles is plagiarized but I wrote other original ones. I didn’t get stakes for any. Why?

Plagiarism is frowned upon across all industries in the business and academic world. We have a strict zero-tolerance policy against plagiarism. Any participant found to be plagiarizing or copy pasting will not receive stakes for any content.

In our experience, plagiarizers are repeat offenders. They seldom “did it for the first time”. They were simply caught for the first time.
