I am so looking forward to this fight. Both men still have their hand speed and both men are multi-millionaires. When you watch the All Access episode and you compare it with watching the UFC preview shows you will see that the money in boxing is still way above MMA.
Adrien Broner was a boxer that I expected to be the next big thing. Broner has 33 wins 24 of which came by knock out. Broner has lost only to Mikey Garcia, Shawn Porter, and Marcos Maidana.
Manny Pacquiao has 60 wins (39 by KO) in 69 fights. Two of Manny's 9 losses were decisions in which he was robbed (Jeff Horn and Timothy Bradley).
Broner is a counter puncher much like one of his mentors Floyd Mayweather. The fight hinges on whether Manny can control the range or will be falling off balance like he was against Floyd.
Broner is very resilient and has never been stopped while Manny was stopped three times.
This is going to be a very tough fight for Manny even though many people are picking him to win. Manny is a -300 while Broner is +240.
While I will be rooting for Manny I will have to pick the dog Broner and lay some small money on it.
