A pretty amazing fight ended in a controversial draw///

I was pretty hyped these last few days about the Wilder/Fury championship fight and i can say that they both delivered, even though i firmly believe Fury should have been the winner on points.

Last few years, even a decade, we havent really seen any big fights between two champions in the heavyweight division.
Sure, we had the Klitschko/Joshua fight a year ago but Joshua was going into the fight as a challenger while Fury and Wilder are both undefeated champs (27-0 and 40-0). Fury being the current lineal champion and Wilder holding the WBC belt.

Most of the times, when you have 2-3 dominant fighters in the division they keep on avoiding each other, which is why i was amazed they both decided to take the fight.
Joshua has been dodging Wilder for a long time now and even though Fury is a much dangerous fighter for Wilder then Joshua is, he still took the fight.
These two guys stepped up and they need to be commended for it.

The fight itself was pretty one sided, for most rounds, like i thought it would be. Tyson Fury is just too damn good of a boxer. He outclassed Klitschko in their title fight and completely dominated Wilder that is a far less skilled boxer then Vladimir.

But.....

Fury is back after a long hiatus where he gained 10 stone and looked god awful. He had mental issues, was suicidal and all that ugly stuff. But came back and was in great shape.... Still he wasnt at 100% and Wilder being the one punch KO kind of guy, caught him 2 times. In the 9th and in the 12th rounds.

The second knockdown, i didnt think he would get up from. That was absolutely brutal how Wilder caught him. Im pretty sure he was out cold for 5 or so seconds. But he got up showing tremendous heart. I dont know if anyone else could have taken that and got up.

Out cold

Joshua would probably be taken out on stretchers out of the ring if Wilder caught him like that.
But that was basically the only thing of notice Wilder did the whole fight...

The judges ruled it to be a draw and as much as i would disagree (i am biased since i love Fury style of boxing) i cant wait for the rematch. Fury going to get fitter and more prepared... and now he knows how it feels to get hit by Wilder. :)

I dont think Joshua will be able to play chicken any longer and ignore the challenge from these two guys. They stepped up and put their undefeated record on the line to give the fans, finally, what they wanted...

All in all amazing fight. Loved every second of it.

The Gipsy King truly is the King. His biggest adversary is himself. If he can manage that constant challenge and keep staying motivated, getting up to work early in the day aso... he can rise up to any challenge.

His skills and his drive to win are high up there.

My only worry with Tyson is that he could end up as yet another boxer who will not be able to stop.

I think he will end up as a boxer that cant be stopped. :D
I want to see him 15-20 pounds lighter. AJ i dont think could land a punch on him if he loses a bit more weight.

It's absolutely amazing that Fury got up the 2nd time like it was nothing. I'm looking forward to the rematch (if they have one).

My jaw dropped when he got up. :)
I love these kinds of fights and its a shame they come by so rarely.
