BRISBANE, Australia - Almost immediately after Michael Buffer proclaimed Jeff Horn the winner over Manny Pacquiao on Sunday, sports stars and top boxing experts flooded social media with tweets questioning the unanimous decision awarded to the Aussie underdog.
Celebrities led by former NBA star Kobe Bryant and former world heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis apparently didn't agree with the judges' decision awarding the fight to the -450 underdog who, to his credit, engaged the Filipino boxing hero in a brawl for the full 12 rounds.
That the judges scored it 117-111, 115-113, 115-113 for the former school teacher left a lot of people shocked and in disbelief.

"This is what's wrong with boxing. Horn was very game but I'm hard pressed to see how he could have won that fight by any stretch!" said Lewis in a tweet.
Bryant responded with his own tweet that had the hashtag #pacquiaohorn and a reaction GIF showing Ice Cube with an incredulous look on his face.
Even top American sportswriter Bill Simmons weighed in, tweeting: "I wish we had Australian boxing judges for NBA playoff series - I think the Celts could have beaten the Cavs."
