Mike Tyson to fight Jake Paul?

It's all just speculation at this point but here is a fight that I would really like to see. Mike Tyson is old, let's not forget that and Jake Paul is at his physical prime. Would Jake take the risk losing to someone that is more than old enough to be his father?

It should be obvious that this is photoshopped

Tyson is 55 and when he fought in his last bout it was a huge letdown for everyone that bothered to watch it. I think a lot of this has to do with some sort of secret arrangement between him and Roy Jones Jr. where they were not going to try to knock the other one out. When it ended in a draw it wasn't much of a surprise because while watching it, I didn't really feel like either of them were really going for it.

If Tyson were to fight Paul, I don't think he would hold back and Paul would finally be facing someone who at least at one point in his life was a straight up killer who could put you in a coma with a clean shot.

Tyson could actually be seen as the reason why Jake Paul is involved in this sport in the limelight to begin with because it was actually during the Tyson vs Jones pay per view that Jake Paul was a co-main event of sorts when he knocked out Nate Robinson. It was the most successful pay per view of 2020 and Paul ran away with it from there and went on to have his own promotion aside from Triller and remains a very big draw despite not being a truly gifted fighter.

This is why the fight between the two of them could be very interesting. Paul has faced people that know how to box, but he has never faced someone who ONLY boxes. Initially Tyson shied away from the idea because he said he would need a "significant fee" in order to come out of retirement to fight again, but recently in an interview I guess someone got under Mike's skin because he said that he could beat either one of the Paul brothers with just 30 days of training.

Paul has been unusually polite with Tyson in regards to this potential fight and this may have something to do with the fact that they had business dealings with one another in Triller and Mike might have been instrumental in why it is that Paul stuck with boxing at all in the first place.

That was lights out for Robinson

In the years that followed, Jake showed little interest in fighting Tyson and instead had his sights set on Conor McGregor which would almost guarantee a huge payout for both. I feel as though a fight between Jake and Iron Mike would bring in even more viewers though and I believe that most people would be rooting for Tyson to put Jake to sleep with his patented body / body / uppercut crushing blows that have put many a man on the mat in the past.

Will this fight happen? I certainly hope so and I am sure the agents are foaming at the mouth to get their cut of what is bound to be a 200-300 million dollar superfight. I'd love to see it but I wonder if Mike is afraid of tarnishing his legacy. If he were to lose I think people could forgive him because he is 55 years old, but is still regarded as one of the greatest of all time.

One things is for sure though: Mike likes and probably still needs money. If this one fight could guarantee him 30-50 million, I have a difficult time believing that he would turn it down even if it does result in a loss.
