I think what Israel Folau has experienced is religious discrimination.
If he was represented by a good solicitor they have grounds to sue under the fair work act. Since i had the time it would specifically point to section 351 fair work act 2009.
Frankly I am dumbfounded at the stupidity of the legal team that helped him with Rugby Australia for not using this as the basis and to start the ball rolling by getting a complaint filed to them as the situation unfolded.
Eventually common sense and the law will prevail towards him if there are laws regarding discrimination on the workplace because that's what he was an employee who was voicing his religious beliefs.
Whether they are high profile or not at the end of the day the law is about being an employee.
There is only really one thing to do in all of this and I whole heartedly believe in doing the hard yards, I for one will #boycottgofundme, I have put money in their way. So as an easy solution I will #boycottgofundme from this day forward.
