This is my entry for the #brainstorming-challenge
My challenge idea is titled 'Help a steemian'
Goal of the challenge
The goal of the challenge will be to help steemians with several challenges like health, housing, educational problems to create awareness so that fellow good willed stemians will help them to solve their problems.
Inspiration
This challenge was inspired as a result of many steemians that I have seen that are passing through different problems of which I know that if other people are aware of it, they can assist. For example, a user I saw named @cryptopie who is having kidney disease and may need a transplant can be helped by the community to raise money for the transplant via donations and upvotes. I feel that there are whales out there and others also that are willing to help, but are not aware.
Guidelines.
Steemians will be told to make a post of a particular person on steemit that needs assistance (This must be done with the permission of the one who needs assistance), stating the person's username and why the person needs such assistance, and that donations should be made directly to such one . The winner will be the one with the posts with the highest number of resteems. The winner will get a price. There may be more than one winner. All participants would leave a link to their posts as a comment for easy finding of winners.
Outcome
This will give the people that need assistance more exposure to those that will assist them, while the one that was influential to their publicity would win a token as well for his/her work, or donate it to the cause if he/she pleases.
Decision of winner.
All the links in the comment will be checked through steemdb.com to know the number of resteems.
Summary
This competition will further strenghten the community and at the same time help those in need, while promoting steemit.
