If you decide to watch ads, you will receive money. A feature called Brave Ads allows you to subscribe to view ads. These ads are matched using information that remains in your browser.
Unlike Google Chrome, Brave does not store your information in any database. You keep the information with you. When an ad appears on the page you're viewing, you get 70 percent of the ad revenue on that page. Payment is received in digital currency called BAT or Basic Attention Tokens.
Brave recognizes that your attention has value. If you are willing to spend a few minutes viewing a web page and advertising on that web page, you are giving away something valuable, and you should get something valuable in return.
