Many of the known breatharians aren’t breatharians as such, rather restricted liquidarians and can allow themselves eat abundantly, but they choose don’t do it and have a well-established practice doing fastings, or with a progressively lighter diet. Apparently, while fasting, in its different varieties, has the capacity of heal chronic illnesses and a important factor is the main objective, why are you doing it, ¿loss weight, make a detox, curiosity, ...?
Social pressure would be other big factor. Sure when you are alone or in a retirement it’s more easy, but incorporate it in our daily life, is the acid test. Call it survival or culture, either if you live to eat, or eat to live, either to chill out with friends or whatever, if you give it a try, at some point, you will feel this “factor”. If you have the chance of living alone while you fast, it will be you and your hunger/thirst that will dictate when to end. Certainly if you don’t have much practice in this, and you have other issues to develop, this will drain you some psychic energy to make these other activities.
Dr John Demartini, objects that nobody has undertake a study of many years to check the veracity of the breatharianism, but even if you don’t plan to make you breatharian or just believe is a great scam, in my experience the subject is worth, either to harden your will or known some new stuff.
Mainly, I investigate a Youtube channel called SupremeMasterTV04, a secondary channel of Supreme Master Television specialised in #breatharianism. You can find there characters of all walks of life, but what have in common is the declared detachment and special relationship with food, but there are many channels in Youtube, and books in Amazon and articles scattered throughout internet

-Jasmuheen says Breatharianism is not the result of the 21 days process (Jasmuheen is to Breatharianism as Neil Strauss is to pickup, at least in the West )

-Joachim Werdim states that the one thing to survive is the will to survive
-Dr Money Vital lives apart from traditions, and comment about the unbearable social pressure while being breatharian during 18 months
-Jerico Sunfire call eating “a emotional roller-coaster”, specially cooked foods (a breatharian personal trainer :0 ¿...?)
-Elitom Ben Yisrael define the hunger as toxicity moving through the body, point out that breakfast is literally "break the fast" and talk about its breatharianism for the working person
-Dr Cristopher Schneider compares the before and after the transition of 21 day process as a connection with a small pipe vs one with a great pipe.
-Oberom say that "eating or not eating" doesn't have to be a limitation.
-Master Liao Fong-Sheng explain that #inedia is what he does after practicing the Spontaneous Qigoong and says that you have to keep a continuous vigilance while doing the inedia
-Henry Momfort emphasize the difference between fasting and pranic nourishment

Some personal experiences with fasting, food and binges
When I get on a #binge, always ends hurting my back, besides affects my voice and breathing. Certainly, fasting give me a break to heal my self.
When I am free of the anxiety while fasting, I confirm a have less fluctuations in behavior.
While trying to do the breatharian process of the 21 days, during the seven first days, still I was able to urinate. I failed in the eighth day while making the transition to drink diluted juices.
I dreamed that I was broke the fasting.
So far, I am unable to make water fasting, it has to be dry fasting. I think due to the nature of binges, considering that I “activate” the digestive system while drinking, besides I don’t feel much different.
Fasting a day or two remove from me the stress of having to eat too soon.
Because while trying the “21 one day process” I listened I needed to get out of my common environment, I leave Santiago, to arrive to Iquique, a small desert city between the mountains and sea, and I discover a place with a more benign weather to my body.
Combine nofap and #fasting is to me, extremely challenging.
While binging, eating a eggplant or two, leave in my tongue a special texture and I want to eat no more.
