The 75-year-old pensioner is now the unlikely star of a reaction to a proposed UK election campaign and it has received so much attention that already there is a t-shirt campaign being sold to support her.

Brenda has had lots of media offers, but some criticism. With some people saying Brenda is wrong, stating that they fought for the right for election we should be proud of doing this. To which she replied, "we need somebody with a little bit of guts to get us all going".
