The Montreal Canadiens will return to the Florida Panthers for another exhibition game on Thursday at the Bell Center and this will be an opportunity for Brendan Gallagher and Paul Byron to play for the first time in the pre-season.

Gallagher will play alongside Max Domi and Artturi Lehkonen, while Byron will skate with Nick Suzuki and Jordan Weal. The third trio will be Nate Thompson, Dale Weise and Phil Varone. Head coach Claude Julien will be betting on Alexandre Alain, Michael Pezzetta and Lukas Vejdemo for his fourth line of attack.

At the back, Shea Weber and Victor Mete will form a duo. Xavier Ouellet, Brett Kulak, Josh Brook and David Sklenicka will complete the defensemen's group. Goalkeepers Carey Price and Keith Kinkaid will be in uniform.

In the opposing camp, some veterans will play, including Keith Yandle, Vincent Trocheck and Troy Brouwer. Contrary to what had been said on the morning news sheet given to the media, the newcomer Sergei Bobrovsky should defend the cage of his own, he who participated in the training of the day. Samuel Montembeault will be the other available goalie.

The day before, Alex Belzile scored the decisive goal of a 4-3 win over the Panthers in Bathurst.
