I was in favour of Brexit for macroeconomic reasons (which the mainstream media haven't even attempted to discuss in the last 2 years), but changed my mind once I learned of the issues around the Good Friday Agreement. Peace in Northern Ireland is paramount and ought to make the decision to remain a no-brainer.

The Irish border is quite a challenge. In the absence of a deal, breaking off from the EU implies there has to be borders between the EU and Britain. The Republic of Ireland is part of the EU, hence the need for a border. Even with a trade deal, it is a tough argument. Things are not working out very well at the moment.
