Maybe they decided the 30-odd million who voted against or didn't vote were right :) That said, nobody comes out of this looking good.

Parliment has no right voting on leaving or staying. That decision was made by the people's vote in the referendum and that descision, like or not, was made. They should be voting on "How we leave." But they're all too busy focusing on their own ideas and interpretations rather than what's best for the country.

I'm proud to be British, I make no apology for that but I'm ashamed of the Government and Parliment as a whole. At the moment I think each and every one of them is a disgrace to this country.

I'm proud to be British too, but also want to be more a part of Europe and the world in general. We get the politicians we deserve. The tories are too busy fighting amongst themselves and those who led the leave campaign seem to be profiting from the process. The next election will be very interesting.

Sadly, that is the incorrect view the whole country has with regards to what is happening in Parliament. The Government, namely Thersa May, is doing her level best to get a deal and move things forward but Parliament, not the Government, is doing everything in its power to sabotage anything that might resolve this whole sorry mess.

I think my daughter (Monique) is right, she seems to think Article 50 will be postponed by three months. The UK will pay the massive fines that we will be liable for due to us not leaving on the agreed date and in the final month we will have a second referendum which will overturn the first vote. All well and good you might think? But nobody talks about the Millions if not Billions wasted so far or the fact that prices will still go up to help offset all those millions lost over the last three years.

Well at least the NHS will have an extra £350m a week :)

I think you'll find they were going to get that anyway. The NHS is about the only thing in this country EVERYONE is scared to jeopardize no matter how many time people accuse the Tories of wanting to sell it off, which they're far too afraid to do.
