Ingredients:
- 1 cup of diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup of diced onions
- 1/4 cup of diced bell peppers
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1 teaspoon of dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon of dried basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: grated Parmesan cheese for topping
Instructions:
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add diced onions and bell peppers to the pan and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in diced tomatoes, dried oregano, dried basil, salt, and pepper.
- Let the mixture simmer for 10-15 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
- Serve Briané over cooked pasta, rice, or grilled chicken.
