Statue Friday

Today is #stauefriday in the #sevendaysoutside challenge by the lovely @erikah

This Chinese Imperial Lion is one of the pair that gaurds the entrance to one of the structures in the garden here in town. From what I have read, this is a male lion because he holds that ball under his foot. I read, too, that calling them Fu Dogs, as I have often heard them refered to here in the West, is not correct.
