Bridges of the world - Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges

Since I started the #bridgesoftheworld tag I thought it's about time I posted another bridge shot, and in this one you get not just one bridge but two.

The Brooklyn Bridge on the right and the Manhattan Bridge on the left.

I debated with myself whether to keep and share this one or not, I am not that happy with it to be honest the early morning light on Tower one of the World Trade Center was to bright and I couldn't quite get it natural looking in editing, but i still like this view point so decided t share it till I an get back there and try this again.

To those watching the Superbowl this evening I hope your team is doing well

The reflections in the water and the colors blending with the blues. Very nice. I've never seen bridges that large.

I can only imagine. We took a Semi into Ontario canada several years ago and had to cross the big bridge. I couldnt take the shaking. The entire truck was bouncing. I got out and walked on across. lol

Some bridges sure don’t feel that sturdy I drove over some that I had little confidence in in various places over the years I remember one where we drew straws to see who would have to drive

I love this. I am a big fan of the color blue and there is so much blue. The tower looks great. Although I always wished they just rebuilt the exact same two twin towers.

Omg wow, this is a beautiful photo. I love the way you've captured the warm glow of the sun on the buildings and how this contrasts against the blue sky. A really nice photo that would make a great canvas landscape :D

That's a great idea, I am also fairly critical of my own photos (albeit I am definitely not a photographer) but I love challenging myself to be better so I'd love to see your 'new and improved' take on this photo too! If you re-do it make sure you post it for us to see :)

It's a pretty awesome shot!

It's funny what we remember in life; as a 7-year old kid from Denmark visiting my uncle in New York for the first time... the one thing I remember was that from his apartment you could see both these bridges... one looked "old" and one "new" to my young eyes, and they were HUGE. Thanks for the share and the "memory trigger."
