Hey guys,
So today I was working at home, minding my own business when the phone rang. My wife answered it and then, looking rather amused, handed it over to me. I kinda knew what was coming, just from the look on her face. There was a sense of pending amusement abound.
I placed the phone to my ear...and spent 20 minutes playing with some guy from India who was trying to get information out of me having gotten my number from a domain name registration (during which I had forgotten to pay for anti-spam). That kind of anonymity should be free or opt out, not the other way round. In the end, after I had played around with him, asking him to send me my external IP address for confirmation of my "network being compromised", I got back to work.
But that got me to thinking, not about people trying to get information out of me, but about a TV show that I haven't watched in ages; The IT Crowd. So I jumped onto Youtube and went down an amusing nostalgic street into the town that is Graham Linehan's wonderful comedy sitcom.
Just gonna post a few vids, spread the word in case you havent seen it.

Roy eventually finds out how his new girlfriend's parents died. I just love the all round looks of bemusement that there could be a fire at a Sea Parks.
A much more efficient place to keep your phone.

Bloody love the IT crowd! Richard Ayowade is just genuis though, I first saw him in Garth Marenghi's Darkplace which is still probably my favourite comedy show of all time! If you've not seen it you HAVE to check it out!
