Lord Jesus in the gospel of Saint Matthew, after announcing the beatitudes, spoke to alert his followers of the limitations of the law of Moses, the passions, and the teachings of the error that distanced man from the ways of the Most High.
For Jesus, the Kingdom of God is to bring the love for God and towards the neighbor to the ultimate consequences, and those who allow themselves to be carried away by the ignorance, false teachings, and passions such as guilt, hatred, and shame cannot enter into this kingdom, empire, or domain of the divine perfections; because everything is summarized in a spiritual teaching: "Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect" Matthew 5:48. God does not coexist with human imperfections.
This is why Jesus, among others, said that those who hate their brothers, although many times they are not reprimanded because they do not violate any law, this do not please God, and according to God's plan, this does not exempt them from divine punishment. In the face of error, men should not look for a reason to justify the action, but rather the correction and wisdom of the creator of all things, only in this way can men find beatitude, which, like a hidden treasure, is revealed to those who seek it with perseverance.
This is why Jesus said with wise words:
"You have heard that it was said to the people long ago, ´You shall not murder, and anyone who murders will be subject to judgment.´ But I tell you that anyone who is angry with a brother or sister will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to a brother or sister, ´Raca,´ is answerable to the court. And anyone who says, ´You fool!´ will be in danger of the fire of hell." Matthew 5:21-22.
